Applying to The Women’s College
This online form is valid for both resident and associate membership applications. Please make sure you have reviewed all the supporting information and general instructions provided on the website. You may save this form and continue at each stage. Applications for both Residency and Associate Membership are for the full academic year.
2024 Applications
- Residency: The College is at capacity, but you are welcome to apply to be placed on the waiting list. Please complete the online application form below or contact admissions for further information on +61 7 3377 4500 or admissions@womens.uq.edu
- Associate Membership: Applications have closed for 2024.
2025 Applications
- Residency: Applications are now open. Interviews will commence in late March. Places will be offered in rounds with the first round scheduled for Tuesday 23 April.
- Associate Membership: Applications are now open. Interviews will commence in April. Places will be offered in rounds with the first round scheduled for Tuesday 20 August.

We use the following selection criteria to determine the order of offers for placement:
- Academic merit
- Community engagement
- Evidence to indicate you will significantly benefit from the College experience – please click here to forward the letter to your Referee.
- Cultural achievements
- Sporting achievements
- General suitability to College life
- Historical and family connection to College
- Home location (priority to rural and regional areas)
