Testimonial

Zoe Garraway was a Women’s College Associate Member in 2019 and became a Resident in 2020. She was the 2021 Associate Officer in the Student Club Executive team.

“My family lives in Norman Park in south-east Brisbane. When my dad and aunty were younger, they both attended college at UQ with my aunty residing at Women’s and they found it to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of their lives. I was keen to be able to experience something similar so decided in 2019 to be an associate member. I enjoyed the experience immensely that I decided to become a resident in 2020 even though my family still lives a 20 minute drive away. I have absolutely love every minute of college. The community is so supportive and helps me balance out my sport and studies. I hope other graduating school students and their families realise that college really is an experience for anyone.”
