Ways to Stay Connected

There are a number of ways that you can stay connected with The Women’s College and make a difference to the lives of our students.

Alumnae can provide work experience and internship opportunities for students and young alumnae. This experience provides a competitive edge when students start applying for jobs. It also helps students with developing great connections in the workforce and assists with the transition from university studies to employment as well as workplace preparation.

A great way to give back to the College is through volunteering. Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Nominate a College friend for the new Women’s College Alumnae Awards
  • Join the Standing Committee Luncheon working group
  • Offer to be a reunion coordinator
  • Become a panellist or guest speaker at our Women of the World Q&A events, Formal Dinners or other special events.
  • Become a mentor to our current students

Engage with The Women’s College by sponsoring a bursary, scholarship or prize that will have a lifetime effect on our students.

It’s a great opportunity to:

  • Directly support a student in financial need or award academic success
  • Demonstrate your commitment to empowering women
  • Connect your brand, business or profile to the education of young women

Would you like to mentor a Wooza?

Share your knowledge with current Woozas in our new Career Mentoring Program. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your invaluable experiences and insights with the next generation of Woozas!

This voluntary program aims to connect our third-year students with mentors who are alumnae or friends of the College, established in professions our students aspire to work in.

The Career Mentoring Program will officially commence with an inaugural Career Mentoring Formal Dinner on Thursday 11 April where students will meet their mentors face-to-face for the first time. Students and mentors will then continue to meet independently throughout the year.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a rising star in your field, we invite you to become a mentor. Your guidance can make a significant impact on a student’s journey. Our students cover a broad spectrum of fields and career aspirations, making your diverse experiences highly valuable.
