Over the years, our College has not only maintained its commitment to providing a supportive community but has also evolved to reflect the changing needs and aspirations of our students. Now, as we stand at the threshold of our 110th year, we find ourselves on the cusp of an exciting new era.

The 110th anniversary celebrations will take place throughout 2024 and will be a remarkable opportunity for our alumnae and friends to reconnect, reminisce, and rekindle old friendships. This momentous occasion will be marked by a series of events and activities designed to honour our rich history, celebrate our collective achievements, and set the stage for an inspiring future.

110th Anniversary Bursary

Women’s is proud to announce the establishment of the 110th Anniversary Bursary Fund. This initiative aims to support a deserving student in their pursuit of a university college experience based on financial need; it will be awarded for the first-time in 2024. We invite you to contribute to this cause and empower future generations to follow in your footsteps.

Capital Campaign

Plans to refurbish the Tennis/Basketball Court Outdoor Area into a wellbeing precinct will be released later in 2023. Naming opportunities will be provided, with supporters recognised as 110th Anniversary Donors.

110 Alumnae Stories

Alumnae will share their stories and memories of The Women’s College with our community through a 10-episode video series. These videos will be published on our website throughout 2024.

Sisterhood of the Travelling Mary Wooza

Acting as a powerful prelude to the 110th Anniversary Ball, the Sisterhood of the Travelling Mary Wooza Relay embraces the spirit of the sisterhood at The Women’s College. Alumnae are invited to participate in this journey; click here for more details and to see Mary Wooza’s journey so far.

Philanthropy Trail

Recognising the College’s buildings, facilities and features that have been made possible through the generosity of the Women’s community, visitors will be able to take a self-guided tour of our new philanthropy trail around the College. Details will be launched at the Back to Women’s event on Saturday 16 March 2024.

Historical Exhibit

Interact with a digital experience in the College Foyer. This touchwall exhibit will showcase the College and its history through an innovative and fun experience.
This project will be officially unveiled at the Back to Women’s event on Saturday 16 March 2024.
